Guys, I feel bad. I’ve been holding out on you. This mix has been on heavy heavy rotation in my headphones for like a month now, and I just have no excuse for not posting it. So here ya go. Fifty six minutes of the finest in space-hop, curated by Cpt. Weedo for Belgian beat collective UrbanWav.es. Neon arpeggios, spanky beats and futuristic synths galore. No tracklist, but don’t worry; I recognized a few tracks, most were new to me, but I love every single one. Props to Weedo – this mix never loses steam or focus, but has a lovely flow while keeping the aesthetic tightly defined. Picture Dilla and Starchild exploring the galaxy in Moog-powered starships, and you’re starting to get the idea.
