Lit City x Fade To Mind: Mystery Guest Headliners, RP BOO (NYC debut), Tink (live PA), Total Freedom, J-Cush, Durban, TCJ at 285 Kent [10PM/$10]

Lit City Trax, bringing nother over-the-top bill of futuristic bass music, this time in collaboration with Fade To Mind. The top billed headliner is a mystery, but… it’s probably Nguzu Nguzu and vocalist Kelela, given that they’re both on Fade to Mind and are playing a show together earlier tonight. However, we’re most excited about RP Boo. That name might be new to some, but his aggressive, innovative sampling style was instrumental in transforming late 90s ghetto house into what we now know as footwork and juke. His first LP, appropriately titled Legacy! is dropping in 3 days on Planet Mu. Rounding out the bill we have a DJ set from Total Freedom, known for his fearlessly creative DJ sets, and a live PA from up-n-coming Chi-town R&B star, Tink.
