Dubspot presents: Psymbionic + Professor Nalepa + VJs @ Webster Hall Studio [11PM/$10/19+]

I’ve been jamming out to Psymbionic all week, so imagine my delight when I heard he is playing in the Webster Hall Studio this saturday! Dude helps run BWOMP BEATS, has an EP dropping next week, and a super fucking fantastic mix that I really meant to include in the last mix roundup… no excuse, my bad!

Co-headlining is Professor Nalepa, dubspot instructor and an amazing producer. I first heard of him when the Glitch Mob remixed his track Monday, but his catalogue extends far, far beyond that. Also, the professor bit is no mere stage name – dude is an actual college professor, teaching electronic music production at Chapman College. He’s so good at, in fact, that 3 of his students remixed his Sunflowers EPand then all put out their own EPs on 1320! He’s also half of Bass Science, who I just recently discovered via their truly excellent Mochipet remix.

Joining them will be 3 seriously epic VJs, a lot of lazers, and probably some little ravelets since this one is 19+. Dubspot always puts on really high quality productions, and as always, you can join them earlier that day for a workshop on ableton live and VJing, which you can stream live for free on dubspot.com.
